The seven artists in Holding Space explore physical, social, and spiritual connections to a world in flux. Innovative, poetic and sensory works consider how we humans coexist with nature, while bringing into focus a sense of awe, and reverence tinged with angst, fear, and hope; these artists construct compelling statements regarding where we find ourselves at this moment. Artworks, ranging from meticulous Burmese beadwork tapestries to high-tech3-D printed sculpture, grapple with ideas about stewardship, conservation, history, and identity, and the future of the world as we know it. .
